Returns Policy

Please note - we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on sale items or purchases made using a discount voucher / code. This applies to both Australian and International orders.

 

Our 'Change of Mind' policy

If you wish to return a non-sale item we will gladly exchange or refund provided you return it within 14 days from the date of delivery to your postal address, unworn and in its original condition with all labels and tags still attached. This does not apply to earrings, cosmetics, lingerie, hosiery, and swimwear, which cannot be returned.

Even if you simply change your mind we can offer a refund or exchange equivalent to the purchase price provided that:

  1. you return the item within 14 days from the date of delivery to your postal address; and
  2. the item is unworn and in its original condition; and
  3. all labels and tags are still attached to the item.

Our ‘Change of Mind’ policy does not apply under any circumstances to purchases of the following items: earrings, cosmetics, lingerie, hosiery, swimwear or sale/discounted items – including apparel.

Submitting your request for an exchange or refund

Please login to your Lady in Red store account. If you completed your order as a Guest, an account was created for your convenience and you were emailed the login details. View your Completed Orders and select 'Return Item(s)' for the garment you wish to return. Tell us about the reasons for returning your item and we will contact you to confirm or further discuss your request.

Alternatively, you can send an email to support@ladyinred.com.au and we will initiate the process.

If your return is conditionally approved please return the garment as per the instructions below.

Returning your item to Lady in Red

We recommend that all items are returned to Lady in Red using a trackable form of delivery. It is advised that you send us the tracking number for your returned item once available. We are not responsible for items delayed, damaged or lost in transit by Australia Post.

Please ensure your name and order number are clearly indicated on a note or the parcel itself before sending. Return post address will be provided once return request is submitted and authorised.

Finalising your return

Once we receive your item in the original condition we will process your return and send you an email to confirm. The original condition is unworn, not washed, not damaged (including odours) and with all tags still attached. All garments are sent with an additional Lady in Red tag attached. If removed, the garment will be rendered nonreturnable. Please note that in the event where a garment is returned to us and any of the above conditions are not met, the return will not be authorised and the customer will be required to pay return postage.

Lady in Red reserves the right to determine whether an item is in a suitable condition to be accepted for return. All decisions made by Lady in Red regarding returns are final.

For refunds, it may take several business days for the funds to be returned to your account. We will always initiate the process as soon as possible, usually on the same day as your item is received by Lady in Red, however the actual transfer of funds is beyond our control.

For exchanges, your replacement item will be shipped on the next business day after the original is received by Lady in Red.

  • Australian customers: For your first exchange, customers are required to pay for postage when returning garments and Lady in Red will cover the postage for sending your new garment to you. 
  • New Zealand customers: For all exchanges the customer is responsible for all postage costs associated with returning your current item(s) and posting your new item(s). We can either send you an invoice for any extra postage costs or deduct this from the amount available to exchange.

Multiple returns: For your second return per transaction onwards, we require the customer to include a prepaid postage satchel when returning the item to be used if exchanging for a new garment. Alternatively we can send you an invoice for any extra postage costs or deduct this from the amount available to exchange.

This returns policy is applicable to purchases made from Lady in Red's online store only, www.ladyinred.com.au. Purchases made from a third-party website, such as eBay, are subject to the returns policy of that particular platform.
